Installing the Chat Relay

Linux

Note: In the steps below, replace <INSTALL_PATH> with the actual path under which you are installing the Chat Relay.

Step 1: Download the appropriate tar file from the Chat Relay downloads page.

Step 2: Extract the tar file:

cd <INSTALL_PATH>

tar -zxvf checkvalvechatrelay-1.0.0-linux-amd64-jre.tar.gz

(Don't forget to replace checkvalvechatrelay-1.0.0-linux-amd64-jre.tar.gz with the name of the downloaded file if it's different).

Step 3: Configure the Chat Relay (see Configuring the Chat Relay).

Windows

Step 1: Download the appropriate zip file from the Chat Relay downloads page (hosted on a different web server because the files are too big for Google Sites).

Step 2: Extract the zip file.

Step 3: Configure the Chat Relay (see Configuring the Chat Relay).
